This is what a middle schooler looks like--complete with middle school sneer. Notice she too is wearing her new Chucks--they're purple. She's also wearing her skinny jeans. I HATE skinny jeans, but it was really hard to find anything else this year. She's lovin' them. She'll do well in middle school. It's a building/atmosphere made for her.
