The ships are part of a maritime museum at the wharf in San Francisco. We did not go on any of them, just admired them from the outside.

That's the Bay bridge in the distance. We were not able to drive over it (it's a double decker bridge for those of you not familiar with it) because they had found a stress fracture in it earlier in the week so it was closed for repairs.
