The prince has a friend who lives with his dad. His mom lives in another country and is only able to see him about once/year. She usually comes for his birthday, but she couldn't make it at that time this year. We decided to have a celebration Friday night when he was over--any excuse to eat ice cream cake (the princess would say). Happy Birthday Tommy!
