"The Cliff Diver", in Mazatlan, has been unequally compared to that in Acapulco at "La Quebrada", where divers jump from more than 30 metres into the water, almost 6 meters deep at the splash impact.
The Mazatlan divers dive from more than 15 meters into less than TWO meters of depth. You can prove this very easily because, after the dive, divers stand up on rocks of bottom and water barely gets any higher than their chest!
Then, the diver come out of the water to get people's donations. This is not a prefab show as the one in Acapulco by any means. This fact makes the act much more dangerous than the one at La Quebrada.
