On Tuesday, gas was $1.31/gallon. Wednesday I gassed up and paid $1.39/gallon. On Thursday the price was $1.49/gallon. On Friday the price was $1.59/gallon.
Does this mean the economy is on the upswing???

No! Just means they are gonna' getcha' if they can. Took yours a lot longer to go up than ours. We've been around $1.60 for weeks. SKS
