Yesterday an 8th grader came to me with his (big) math book and his (small) grammar book. He needed help with both subjects. I asked which he wanted me to help him with because we would only have time to finish one. He looked at both books and then said, "Math."
I asked, "Why? Can someone at home help you more with grammar than with math?"
"No," he said, "My grammar book is lighter to carry home."
